We spent a very sweaty weekend in the car to visit my hubby's family. Travelling from one corner of the country (bottom) to the other corner of the country (top) in a heatwave, with no air con, is not for the faint hearted. Due to hubby's ongoing back issue, yours truly did all the driving. Which is fine, I'm used to driving long distances, but even so I was well over it by the time we made it home on Monday evening.
I got out for a quick run on Saturday morning. It was cool and drizzly (or mizzly as we call Lakeland weather), but so refreshing. The hills were manageable (training must be working), and I ran a lot of it and jeffed the hills when they got a bit lairy.
I had intended to run again on the Sunday morning, but we got busy packing up and doing jobs before we left to go onto the next set of family.
We had a short walk in the afternoon along with river so a few extra miles there.
Now I'm back in Norfolk with a clear schedule until the 10 in 10 the training will be more consistent than it has been!
Happy Wednesday peeps - keep running.
